Fully licensed Abattoir
At Paradise Meadows Poultry Farm, we operate a fully licensed, government-inspected poultry abattoir located directly on our farm in Black Creek.
This facility allows us to raise and process our own birds on site, while also providing essential poultry processing services for other local farmers. Local food production depends on local infrastructure — and licensed slaughter facilities are a critical part of that system.

Our abattoir operates under strict government regulations and inspection standards to ensure food safety, cleanliness, and humane handling.
All birds processed here are:
-
Inspected upon arrival
-
Handled in a clean, controlled environment
-
Processed according to provincial meat inspection regulations
We are careful about what comes through our facility. Any birds showing signs of illness or parasites are not accepted for processing.
Small-scale poultry farmers rely on access to licensed processing facilities. Without them, local meat production simply isn’t possible.
By operating an abattoir here in Black Creek, Paradise Meadows Poultry helps support:
-
Local and regional farmers
-
Small agricultural operations
-
Safe, transparent food production
This service plays an important role in keeping local food available in our community.
Our abattoir is set up to process poultry only.
This includes:
-
Chickens raised on our farm
-
Chickens raised by other local farmers
All processing is done by experienced staff following strict hygiene and safety procedures.
All abattoir services require advance arrangements.
If you are a farmer or poultry owner looking for processing services, please submit an Order Request with details about:
-
Number of birds
-
Type of birds
-
Preferred processing timeframe
We will review your request and follow up with availability and next steps.
We process birds for most of the year. There are short seasonal periods when fresh processing may pause, during which frozen product may be available instead.
All birds are inspected before processing. Birds showing signs of illness, lice, mites, worms, or other health concerns are not accepted. This protects food safety and the health of the facility.
We recommend submitting an order request as early as possible, especially during busy periods such as holidays or peak farming seasons.
Abattoir services are available to poultry owners and farmers by advance request. This is not a walk-in service.
