At Paradise Meadows Poultry Farm, we raise a variety of poultry and offer farm products to meet the needs of local families, farmers, and gardeners. Processed Chickens (Ready to Cook)
All of our processed chickens are raised and processed on site in Black Creek in our licensed, government-inspected facility. Birds are available fresh for most of the year, with fresh frozen available during short seasonal periods.
Fryers are younger birds ideal for roasting, grilling, or cutting up for meals. They’re tender, versatile, and a staple for many households.
Larger birds with more meat, well suited for roasting, slow cooking, soups, and stews. Roosters are especially popular for stock and long-cooked dishes.
Capons are roosters raised longer to produce a larger, more tender, and flavourful bird. Considered an old-fashioned, boutique option, capons are especially popular for holiday meals and special occasions.
Cornish game hens are smaller birds, typically under two pounds, known for their tenderness and delicate flavour. Often compared to veal for texture, they’re a favourite for individual servings and special meals. We raise Cornish hens several times a year.
Chicken Cuts
In addition to whole birds, we also offer select chicken cuts, depending on availability.
