About Paradise Meadows Poultry Farm
A small, family-run poultry farm located in Black Creek, BC.
It’s owned and operated by Gord and Tracey, who have been raising chickens for most of their lives.
Gord grew up on his parents’ chicken farm and purchased the land in Black Creek in 1980. Together with Tracey, he’s been raising birds here ever since — doing things the way they believe they should be done: carefully, cleanly, and without cutting corners.
They’ve never wanted to get big. The goal has always been to raise healthy chickens, provide good food for the community, and support local agriculture in a way that actually works.
A Farm Built Around Community
More than just a place to buy chickens
Families are welcome here. Kids often stop to feed the donkeys. Customers ask questions, share recipes, and talk about where their food comes from. Many people have been coming here for years — some for generations.
Local agriculture is a “dying breed,” but it’s vital to rural communities and local economies. The fresher the food, the better it is for you — and it doesn’t get much fresher than birds raised and processed on the same farm.
